  • Diet, Nutrition & Lifestyle
  • Tai Chi (physical exercise)
  • Qi Gong (breath exercise)

It has been an effective form of health care for over 2500 years and has evolved into a complete and holistic medical system.

How does Oriental Medicine Work?

Humans are unique bio-energetic systems. In Oriental Medicine, Qi or Chi is a vital life force or energy that flows through all things. Qi moves along pathways in our body called meridians. It nourishes and energizes every organ, muscle, gland, tissue and cell.

Hidden stressors such as lack of nutrients, infections, medications, scars, stress, heredity, physical and emotional traumas, over-exertion and environmental exposures, create interference fields. These may block or imbalance the flow of Qi in meridians. The resulting energy imbalances may cause pain, illness or disease.

Oriental Medicine corrects these imbalances by breaking up the energetic obstructions, thus encouraging an even flow of Qi. This stimulates the body’s natural ability to heal and restore itself to a healthy balance.
